Window Shopping in Oslo

I love it when I can fly from one European city to another on Friday night, because Saturdays are such an active shopping day in Europe. I also love to window-shop when walking to and from dinner, like a couple of weeks ago in Oslo.

No flipflops at this shop...winter is coming!

Lots of bicycles in Oslo, and many people use public transportation (buses, trams, subway, commuter rail). That means walking a bit from the tram stop or subway station to the office. Gloves are important!

OK, some of these purses are less functional than the shoes and gloves. My hotel was right near the National Theater and a couple of other arts venues. Oslo women clean up good when they go out!

Even though Victoria's Secret has a formidable presence in Europe (there's even a store in Schipohl Airport in Amsterdam), small lingerie shops are more common than in the US.
